Rooted in the feminine textual marks of Ana Blandiana’s poetry, the lyrical ego identitary profile is pointed out by its relation to a so-called minor genre. Beyond the overt patterning of Blaga’s poetry, the lyrical ego redefines its own gentle feminine profile both by programmatically re-ordering the dominant male perspective upon world and re-valuating the poetic instruments often used in male writing. Be it the re-writing of a sacred story or the feminization of the poetics of the secrecy, Ana Blandiana’s texts stand out, within the larger context of the 70’s, as a free, slightly arrogant definition of the feminine viewed as origin and purpose of poetry itself.
