M.Nedelciu’s characters gather the folkloric, legendary traits either by means of behavior or structural mood yet they never turn into stereotypes. The Postmodern writer is always playing games with them as the biography of each character is constantly denuded, its reality effect is always played with, and thus the strategy of multiplication narrators and points of view will never generate a unitary perspective on the characters itself. The reader can do nothing but accept M.Nedelciu’s solution: “Let him think in his own way!”
