Our main interest in this paper is to reach two purposes. On one hand, we will show that the acquisition of the intercultural competence consists in overcoming the different barriers of communication competence, so as to lead speakers to accept themselves and to tolerate each other on intercultural context. But, in spite of its importance, the intercultural competence seems to neglect the linguistic various problems that make acculturation process end in failure. On the other hand, we will underline, by means of a particular case, the phenomenon of crystallization of cultural shocks and other facts in the language structures. From that point of view, language may be considered as a kind of collective memory where settle, by verbalization process, as so much evidence, tensions and conflicts between speakers on intercultural contexte.
