The interest of this paper lies in the way the group of space novels works on the issues in Bref séjour chez les vivants by Marie Darrieussecq. The realistic-looking spatial structure of this novel gathers around a nonexistent center restricting the characters to a dreamlike world. Beneath this interworld situation, that is, the swift between physical and mental spaces, it implicitly appears a virtual or liquid space that portrays the deep dream of characters. That dream consists to live together and to reach a global vision of the planet.
